Powerpoint Crashing on Exit Slide show

Hi,

I have been having some issues with Powerpoint.

When I exit the slide show when the poling is complete powerpoint crashes and the computer locks up and I louse all the polling data.

I have updated all the drivers. I am running powerpoint 2007 (SP2)

The computer is: Dell Vostro 1510 - 3GB Ram

Just to add to this, it doesnt happen all the time!

Do you use hyperlinks in your presentations? Is it consistent with a particular presentation or fairly random?

We have exactly the same problem!

Any further information here would be helpful. As in the use of hyperlinks, if it is consistent or intermittent.

Has this been tied to one presentation or various presentations?

What version of windows?

What build of TurningPoint?(This is found by clicking on the information button)

This has happend to me twice in two days. Somewhere else in this forum it was suggested to disable the AutoSave function in PowerPoint. This could be the problem because as I exit it hangs on trying to save the auto recover file.

Try this maybe?

I would indeed recommend disabling the auto recover option.
