Comments about Turning Point and Response Card

I have used the clickers for several different classes both as pretests and spot checking. The biggest difficulty that I have had is trying to get secondary math symbols needed for the problems placed in the slideshows. I have been trying to use handouts then having the slides reference the handouts or  say click #1 for.... . The students for the most part enjoy using the clickers. I definitely could use some more training on how to make more use of the reports generated from the sessions.

I'm looking forward to using the clickers as soon as possible. I love the idea of instant feedback and the ability to pinpoint areas of confusion. I think the clickers will help eliminate the shy students who never raise their hands and create bold thinkers. I'm also looking forward to the studys session for OGT and helping create study groups.

My students absolutely love the clickers.  Since I have completed a participant list and assigned clickers, I have been able to collect data instantly on each student.  I'm looking forward to learning more.

I am looking forward to learning about the possible uses of Turning Point. I have never used any system of this sort but I think it will benefit the students and my self in many ways. I know other teachers in the building have used this sytem or something similar, with the Smart Board, and our students love it! Once I know more about this I am sure my students will be thrilled to use it in my class!

I am very excited about the changes with Turning Point technology.  I have used it in the past where students had to point the remote to the reciever for their score to be logged in.  These new improvements will make using the technology an easy, daily feature of instruction. 

I am looking forward to using the 'clickers' in my classroom.  I see it as a great way to keep the kids engaged as well as get instant feedback.

My students absolutely love the Turning Point system! They have been bothering me everyday to make up another one (I used one powerpoint off the website). I love that I have instant feedback. It made the students listen to what I had to say, and they were very involved with the lesson. We went over every problem, and then they understood what was going on after we went over it. We did more problems and the students did very well on the rest. I loved that it was literally instant feedback, and it made my students excited to learn.

There are so many possibilities for the use of this technology.  The best part is that it turns assessment into a fun activity that's just like a game.  The students do not even need to know that they're being assessed, they just think I'm playing a game with them.  This technology makes other teaching tools like "Reading A-Z" and "United Streaming" and math and reading curriculums even more benificial by increasing student interest!

I'm looking forward to getting the response system in my classroom.  I have had the opportunity to collaborate with another teacher in my district that has the system, and she has given me some good ideas to help make assessments quick and easy.  I have already come across some situations that will give me instant feedback on student learning.  I'm confident this system will be quite beneficial during my science activities.

My students really love it when I say I am getting out the clickers! I love that it is a fast assessment.  The kids also love to see the graph.

I am so excited and impressed with the things that can be done with Turning Point. It has far exceeded what I imagined.  So far I have taken baby steps but I am looking forward to becoming more skilled with Turning Point.  It does my heart good to see 6th graders excited to take a chapter test in social studies.

Looking forward to putting the new tech into action!  The feedback I've received from my students is that most have used this technology before--and have enjoyed it!  I'm also looking forward to using the formative assessment to enable me to change lessons as needed. 

My students were excited that we could now use the "clickers" in Social Studies.  They have been using them in other classes frequently.  So far I have used them for review purposes. 

However, I plan on using them in many other ways as soon as we are able to get everything working properly.  I  told the students we would be taking an assessment in the near future using them and they were ecstatic. 

Like so many others, I'm so happy to have access to more technology for my classroom. Oh just to gather the data for me, makes me a very happy person. And my students are going to be excited to, as they have been studying the data with me this year.

It is so exciting to have this new technology in our classrooms! I envision so many ways to work with it. The instant feedback will be great for myself and my students! And I believe the idea of using technology will motivate the students! Thank you for the opportunity to aquire the equipment and information!

My students are really enjoying using the turning point anywhere especially in conjuction with united streaming.

I love using Turning Point in my classroom.  My students get sooo excited when I say we are going to use the "clickers".  I have the very basics down and can't wait to experiment more with them before our next meeting.

It is so energizing to incorporate new technology into our classrooms!  The students are enjoying a fun new way to review.  The programs will be a great base resource to use in the future as well.  Thank you for the opportunity to motivate our students!

I am very excited to be given the opportunity to use Turning Point with my students. The instant feedback will be appreciated by my students as well as myself. I am looking forward to the many things I can do with them.

I was very interested in the presentation given in November that introduced me to Turning Point. I can already image ways that this system could gather data about my students' levels of understanding in an easier, more efficient and fun way. Unfortunately, I have been unable to put any of it on our network so far. Our tech dept. is now working to find what's preventing this.

 I am so excited to be able to use the "clickers" with my inclusion class.  It is nice to get a quick check of the lesson.  The best thing is the kids love it!!  The really enjoy the feedback.

I'm very excited to be learning to use the student response cards in my class.   My students are excited to get started.  They love new technology and anything out of the ordinary.  Some have mentioned that they have used them in the past.  I'm looking forward to tying them in with assessments.
