Belmonte Middle School in Saugus, Ma recently put togehter a massive MCAS Math Review competition for their whole 6th grade class. The Jeopardy game template available online was used with about 30 to 40 math questions across the full range of strands covered by our curriculm. Point values were added to each slide to correspond to the Jeopardy values. We added some Jeopardy intro music to give it a little pizzaz.
The most time consuming part of the project was resetting multiple response kits to all use the same channel. Once that was done and tested we were able to host 200 + students in the school auditorium, each with their own response device. Students selected one of 4 teams and then clicked in on every questions. Timers and response counters were included in each slide. It was fun watch the response counter flag fly up to 200 responses in no time. At the end of the competition we displayed winning teams, MVPs and high scorers using built in Turning Point Slides.
I'll add some more details this when I get a chance or if anyone has any questions.
