Mesa Community College Pilot Study on "clickers"

Anthropology faculty at Mesa Community College will conduct a pilot student of the impacts on retention and learning as a result of use of two different "clicker technologies".  We will compare retention and grade distributions from last fall and spring to what we have for this fall's semester.  We are working with our Center for Teaching and Learning in this pilot.

Two different courses will be assessed - one a science course called Bones, Stones and Human Evolution and the other a cultural science course called Buried Cities and Lost Tribes.

I have established my own personal blog for making observations.  I welcome anyone to comment on it.  I will continue to use this blog as a way to summarize what we are experiencing.
